In keeping with the long-standing patronage tradition that has always characterized the Company, in 2016 Salvatore Ferragamo announced its contribution in the form of a three-year donation in favor of the restoration of the Fountain of Neptune in Piazza della Signoria in Florence. In the same year, Salvatore Ferragamo also contributed to the restoration and re-opening to the public of the Campatelli Tower and House in San Gimignano. The tower-house dates back to the mid-12th century and is currently owned by Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI). These donations join that to the Uffizi Gallery, which in 2015 enabled the reopening of 8 rooms with around fifty of the most valuable works from 15th century Florence.
